Perseids again…..

Not a bad night for Perseids down here in East Sussex.  I saw a few and my camera caught 27 over just under 400 frames…here are three of them

I’ve lived in loads of houses and only now do I get a Grass Snake in (one of) my compost heaps!  I should say we also have many Slow Worms, some were even cuddling t’other day…

A Ranunculus opening this morning…..it took just over three hours in real time but real time is boring.

Yes, more black spots on the sun today (well, yesterday actually).  Finally I get to use my solar filter for an interesting event as Mercury makes it merry way across the face of the sun…..we were forecast clouds all day but in the end there were a couple of hours with enough breaks to get the shots that made up this composite….
