Glen Miller Is Missing

Wednesday, October 24th, 2018

I have approximately 1,000,009 part recorded songs across computers, tape recorders and, very possibly, wax cylinders.

Having decided that it was time to “finish” some of them and share them with the world the problem then became which one to finish first. Logically (!) I decided to finish one I hadn’t ever even started to record. Since it was one of the first I wrote some 2/3 of my life ago it makes some sort of sense. Take yourself back to 1979……

Ranunculus dawn…

A Ranunculus opening this morning…..it took just over three hours in real time but real time is boring.

The Truth is Out Here!

Wednesday, May 4th, 2016

I will be kept silent no longer.  In the foreground you can see one of my favourite beaches (Camber Sands) in the distance you can see the nuclear power station at Dungeness.  In between that’s not kites, that’s mutant seagulls.  Oh yes it is!

Not an eclipse…..

Saturday, March 21st, 2015

It was cloudy here in Reigate throughout yesterday’s eclipse so all I can offer you is a little black spot on the sun from a few days earlier…..

Big Garden Birdwatch 2015

Sunday, January 25th, 2015

This year I used technology to count at least some of the birds……

There were, as you can see, several. Mainly Blue Tits and Greenfinches but also a Redpoll for the first time….probably wouldn’t have noticed if not for the camera taking the shots automatically.

Not my first embedded video I think but probably first from YouTube…a bit small when embedded into the old classic Planarchy layout isn’t it?
